Three weeks prior to the cooking, Chef Nancy and I started a wonderful conversation via phone calls and emails to plan the highly anticipated event. Nancy gave multiple suggestions and together we planned and revised the menu for the small dinner party and the excitement began to mount!
Even before Nancy completed her chef’s training she was known particularly for her wonderful breads and cakes and so when the time came for us to hire the very best caterer for our 50th wedding anniversary two years ago we turned to Sisters. Now that Nancy has added Personal Chef to her titles we invited her to prepare a dinner for two couples. Ingredients came from the butcher who featured Angus Beef as well as from specialty markets in Atlanta. Thus an individualized plan with superb ingredients was combined with Nancy’s natural talent for cooking and it all came together in my kitchen to the delight of our guests!
Was it really as wonderful as we remembered it? Yes! There were planned “left-overs!” Now we can taste it all again! I’m so glad we took pictures to go with the signed menu left on our table. We’ll be using Sisters again.
